If you need documentation of your grade by the end of or beginning of the following semester for any reason, please consider registering for a course that runs earlier in the semester.

Students who are interested in applying to one of the Master of Education programs are expected to complete the application process prior to completing six credits

Registration Information

Course Materials
Students are responsible for purchasing books and must bring all required course materials on the first day of class, in order to attend and receive a grade in the course.  You will receive information on how to obtain your course materials once your course has been confirmed.  Books are available for purchase through MBS Direct or 800.325.3252.  Course workbooks and syllabi must be printed and/or downloaded from the student RTC account on the RTC website three business days before the class starts.  Also, please note these documents will only be available until your grade has been submitted.  Please click here for a complete list of required materials.

Registration
You can register by phone (800-433-4740), fax, mail or internet. Seats are available on a first-received basis. Please register early since class size is limited. The last day to register for a class is 3 business days before the start date:

Students wishing to register for more than 9 credits in the Fall or 12 credits in the Spring or Summer must first call 1-800-433-4740.

An official decision to confirm or cancel a course will be made by approximately 2 weeks before the class start date.

Tuition

A minimum deposit of $75 is required at the time of registration, payable by check, credit card or school PO. All outstanding balances are due three business days before the published start date of a course (same as registration deadline schedule). There are no additional required college fees.  A $30 fee will be imposed on returned checks.

Summer 2017

The College of New Jersey 3-credit: $1,650 ($550/credit)

La Salle University 3-credit: $1,245 ($415/credit)

Fall 2017 & Spring 2018

The College of New Jersey 3-credit: $1,770 ($590/credit)

La Salle University 3-credit: $1,350 ($450/credit)

Confirmation
Once the class has sufficient number of enrollees, you will receive a confirmation of the class. The confirmation letter will include all pertinent information about the course.  Once a student is notified of a class confirmation, books are available for purchase through MBS Direct at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/thertc.htm or 800-325-3252.

Cancellation
If a class is cancelled, you will be notified within two weeks prior to the first day of class. You may transfer the money from the cancelled course to another class by contacting RTC or using your available funds at check out.  This must be done before the registration deadline (see above).   If you prefer to receive a full refund, please contact RTC at 800-433-4740.

Drop/Add
There is no additional fees for the first transfer within a semester.  The transfer request must be made more than 3 full business days before the published start date of the dropped class.  A $10 processing charge will be applied on any subsequent transfers.  If the transfer is made less than the number of required business days before the class start date it will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Withdrawals & Refund
A $25 fee is assessed for withdrawals made 3 business days before the published start date of the class (same as registration deadline schedule).  Withdrawals on or after the deadline will result in forfeiture of the minimum deposit.  For face-to-face courses, no refunds will be made after the first 3 hours of class time.  For online courses, refund will be based on the proportion of the course completed.

Less than 10% - 90% refund
10% up to but not including 20% - 80% refund
20% up to but not including 30% - 60% refund
30% up to but not including 40% - 40% refund
40% up to but not including 60% - 20% refund
More than 60% - No refund

ANY WITHDRAWALS OR DROP/ADDs must be done by calling RTC 800-433-4740.

 Requirements
Working with their instructor, students are required to produce a Learning Extension Project/Action Project in the form of a research-based action plan/course project. For face-to-face courses, projects are due no later than two weeks after the last in-class meeting. For online courses, projects will be due no later than one week after the published end date of the course.  The course will not be considered completed without submission of the project.

Grade Report and Transcript Information
Grade reports and any requested transcripts will be available from the college approximately six weeks after the last published end date of the course.

Graduate Course Credit Information
All courses are for graduate credit.  In New Jersey you will receive the credits from The College of New Jersey.  In Pennsylvania or Maryland, your credits will be from La Salle University. Credits may apply toward graduate degree programs. Prior to registering, check with your advisor. Credits may also be applied toward Pennsylvania Level II certification, recertification, ACT 48 Professional Education credit, 100 hour requirement, Maryland APC, and/or advancement on the salary scale.

Location
Please note, some locations for classes are tentative.  RTC will make every effort to keep classes in the same approximate area if a specific location needs to be changed.
