Founded in 1993, the Regional Training Center's purpose is to provide exciting and relevant graduate professional development opportunities in online and live-virtual formats to teachers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland in partnership with Middle States and NCATE/CAEP accredited colleges.
RTC is experienced in designing and delivering graduate-level courses that move beyond traditional college lecture/discussion methods toward a model of effective teaching practices. This is done by infusing instruction with opportunities for participants to experience an active, engaging program of teacher education.
Regional Training Center has experienece organizing, disseminating and maintaining high quality academic standards for graduate coursework and degree programs.
Instructors for RTC are specially selected as exemplary K-12 teachers that are the best educators of educators available, all with advanced degrees. Our instructors have had classroom experience in school districts across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Regional Training Center courses and Master's degree programs are approved/accredited by the following institutions and organizations: The College of New Jersey (NCATE/CAEP/Middle States/NJ DOE) and La Salle University (Middle States/PDE/MHEC)
