La Salle University - Master of Education
La Salle offers a Master of Education in the state of Maryland. This program is approved by MHEC (Maryland Higher Education Commission).
FOR NEWLY MATRICULATING STUDENTS ONLY
Candidates are expected to complete the application process prior to completing six credits in the program.
Candidates must:
- hold an appropriate bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least a 3.0 undergraduate grade point average
- complete the online application
- submit all official undergraduate (and any graduate) transcripts
- provide a professional résumé
- provide the name of an individual that La Salle University will contact to request a letter of recommendation. If a letter is already written, send it in sealed and signed confidential envelope.
Note: This program does not lead to teacher certification.
Candidates who would like to strengthen their application are encouraged to take the Graduate Record Examination. Candidates with a cumulative under-graduate GPA less than a 3.0 are strongly encouraged to take the GRE. Candidates who already hold a master’s degree typically would not take the GRE.
The program utilizes Regional Training Center distributed courses.
